We’re All In This Together

Get your cup filled for the week by joining a group of awesome parents who know how critical it is to make time for their own well-being. It is vital to have a safe space to vent, cry and laugh together with other parents if you want to parent peacefully and joyfully. Community is often the missing piece for parents.

We want out children to feel heard, seen and understood by us, but who is doing that for us parents? Who is lovingly, respectfully and non-judgmentally listening to your courageous recounting of the incident last week that you avoided telling even your therapist? Imagine having that kind of attention every week; the kind that you can then give to your child when they inevitably mess up as they learn how to be in the world.

If you think you're the only one losing it regularly with your kids, or that your child is so whiny, shy, aggressive or impulsive that you must have done something wrong, think again. In our weekly support groups, not only do parents discover how much we all struggle with similar issues, but they benefit from listening to others practice and refine skills that foster happy, healthy families.

Groups of 6-8 people are geared to parents of toddlers to kindergarten, first grade to middle school, and high schoolers. There is a place for everyone. Professional feedback is available only if you wish, or you can choose to experience the power of being deeply listened to with compassion and respect.

When you get a chance to release the emotional tension that family life inevitably brings, you’ll be more patient, loving and fun. There will be time for group sharing, learning new skills and asking your burning questions. Every parent deserves the chance to be cheered on and celebrated!

This is a nourishing place for you to be completely and fully yourself, a space for YOU, a chance to gather what you need and go back out into the fray - fortified and bolstered this time.

$40 per session, sliding scale if needed (no-one turned away for lack of funds).

Building a supportive community of parents is a cornerstone of successful parenting.
